Hi Folks,
I''''m new to the forums. I hope I am posting this question in the right place and someone can answer my question.
I am carving a wax for lost wax casting, and for the life of me I cannot find my notes from school that tell me the formula to compute the surface area needed for pave settings.
What I have are 16 3mm stones to be lay out in an even square pattern on the top of a gent''''s ring.
Does anyone perhaps have the formula for the surface area I will need for this? I remember that I need to add clearance for between all the stones and also for along the wall, and I think it was 1mm, but I just cannot remember if this is correct.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thank in advance!
