well imagine my delight when FedEx (it wasn''t UPS, whoops) arrived on SATURDAY morning with my package (was expecting it friday by 10:30 but with snow and holiday deliveries....). i was so happy to see him and thanked him a million times - he said ''well at least we made someone happy!'' which made me feel bad. these guys are working crazy hours and i can only imagine the grief they are getting cuz packages are late. i understand, some truly are time-sensitive and even though mine was next-day delivery, it was by no means a matter of life and death. anyway, i digress.
the band is 1.5mm thin, full eternity with .35ctw of full cut diamonds (56 diamonds, i believe, size 6.25), F-G color, VS clarity. there is one little buggar that stands out - i noticed him right away - which might be why this band made its way to his ''items for sale.'' at any rate, i actually like this little diamond that stands out (it''s darker. i''m hoping santa brings me the loupe i asked for so i can see if it''s an inclusion or what). i think i like it because it''s a placemarker, it''s kind of like ''hey, there you are!'' when he spins around to say hello. and the very cheesy part of me likens him to my hubby who also stands out amoung the many. again, i digress. i LOVE it, it completes my set and now i am really over-the-moon. ''course the pics don''t capture all the fire and sparkling going on, but woo-wee!
THANK YOU to all who responded to my DH''s post about this band, and to all who encouraged my DH to go for it. i''m not usually one who can buy things like this sight unseen with no return policy, but this time my instincts were right on and i could not be happier with this band!

I admit, your shinies are on my top 10 list of favorites here. I just love it to pieces.
