Selling 5 Stone LM Setting (minus the EC stone). My husband gave me the specs and I also have the Certificate of Authenticity from Leon as well as the inside stamp in the ring. It is Platinum with Extra Long Trapezoids (F/VS2) and .79 ct total with Bullets (F/VS1) .33 ct total weight. It has the Leon Mege famous double claws for the middle stone (will hold 7X9) - that is what mine is. I just bought it in Nov of 2011 (just shy of 2 years ago). It is a tight size 6 but told that it can be sized up of down. I am showing a picture of it just above the knuckle so you can see it separately from my band. Pd over $7k for setting alone. All resonable offers considered. PS The reason for selling is, is that I originally and have always wanted a Halo and am looking to to do just that :) Thank you and please ask any and all questions.

Hi! Gorgeous setting! I would love to see more pictures. Where do you have the mounting for sale? Please post the link!!

I'm very interested. Do you have a link so I may contact you?

ETA: Since PS doesn't have private messaging, many people start a listing on Loupe Troop where people can contact them directly.

This is such a beautiful setting! Does anyone know her off the board to contact her and let her know that she needs to post it somewhere?

Hi: Thank you so much for your interest. I did not know that you needed to post it there. I will do that. In the interim, please see more attached photos. Thank you so much.

I just wanted to let you know that I have also listed this on Loupe Troop for those that would like to contact me. Many thanks for looking.

Thank you 04Daimond - I should have done that! :)

You might want to include a price as well so people have a starting point for discussion purposes; off the top of my head, I can think of very few postings that did not include a price. :))

Thank you so much. I can see your point, it's just that I would prefer offers (as I would rather not put an exact price) and wanted to provide to those that are interested, the price that my husband actually paid. Again, I have certificates from Leon Mege stating all the information! I appreciate your suggestion though. Thank you again.

I have found that more people contact when there is a starting point. Though I am not not who would be pursuing purchase of your stone, I know that I usually don't contact on "best offer" pieces :)

My 5 Stone Leon Mege "Setting" (not including the Center stone) is still available. Still on Loop Troop. Thanks for looking.

You have two different prices listed in your ad. You might want to clarify.

I do? Thank you and I will check. I had changed my listing to a minimum offer to help clarify asking. Thanks so much for letting me know.

You have one price on the title line and another where it states the price.

I don't mean to be rude but why would someone offer more than your min offer price? Usually people come to preloved to find deals no matter how gorgeous your setting is. I hope it gets sold soon!

Hi Royalstarrynight: As mentioned in above post, it was an oversight when I changed to add an Asking price. It's been corrected. Many Thanks.

Is this still for sale?

Still looking for a buyer?

I don't know how I could've forgotten about this setting, its such a beauty!

One more question for us colored stone junkies - how deep a center stone do you think the setting could accommodate? TIA. :))

Love your ring!! How can I get in touch with you without having to register? Would it work with my diamond? My diamond is:
2.23 carats
63.2% Depth
8.31 x 7.22 x 4.56 mm

my ring is: 8.92 x 7.06 x 4.35 It's actually not as low as I wanted it to be and he had to be set higher because my finger was not wide enough for the 5 stone setting - therefore he set it higher. It literally covers my entire finger (size 6). I think you would need to ask a jeweler to see if it can accomodate your stone.

Ok, I'll check with a jeweler and be in touch. :appl:

Hmm, looks like as is, it would be too shallow for the majority of colored stones... :(( Maybe a bench could modify the head with longer prongs without affecting the aesthetic integrity of that beauty.
