Less than 2 weeks left, begin panic mode!!

Ahhhh why are the days and weeks FLYING now when I have so much to do!! I'm hoping someone can tell me I'm in okay shape as far as things left to do and to remind me if I am forgetting anything! I'm sure I am, I have been a mess as of late!

To do still:
--Last minute veil purchased on Etsy (to attempt to hide irrational dislike of back fat) is in progress and supposed to be here soon). If I hate it, well I wasn't planning on wearing one anyways, so I'll live!
--Ceremony programs ordered, still waiting on proofs and getting nervous!
--Rehearsal dinner insert for welcome bags (we didn't do traditional invites) in progress by same Etsy vendor as did invitations.
--Thank you notes also in progress!
--Get guestbook/photo album for photobooth doubles and for guests to write message. Get pen.
--WRITE VOWS...
--Get something for cards to be put in on gift table.
--Get parents' and grandparents' wedding day pictures
--Finalize table seating arrangements!
--Order placecards (get on this!)
--Order custom beverage napkins
--Buy and assemble all welcome bags for hotel
--Decide if dyeing shoes and do it ASAP!
--Maid of honor still without shoes and accessories...
--Buy flower girl necklace
--Groom still possibly without tie... have 1 option though
--Pick all must-play songs including all important songs like, entrance, first dance, etc. etc. etc.
--Buy ribbon to be put on cake by cake baker
--Pick up wedding bands (doing this tomorrow, yay!)
--Buy wedding gifts for Best Man and Maid of Honor (only attendants)

Oh and I'm sure a million little things I've forgotten!!

oh, magsy, i almost wrote this same exact post today.

today was the first day i started to get the butterflies/excitement/stress of all the little things left to do. ahhhh....
i don't even want to list mine out---i'll go into a stress fit & i'm trying to stay calm, cool, & collected. (although, literally minutes ago i had a hissy fit over my ugly handwriting while trying to hand-write table tent cards w/our grandparents names/wedding dates to sit in front of each of their photos. project just got scrapped. framed photos only. deep breath.)

I was in the same place a week ago as I am getting married this weekend. Don't worry you will get through it. I have barely anything left to do. I made a list of things I wanted to do each day and mostly kept to it.

OMG...vows are the hardest part. I don't have them finalized at all and it's just difficult to put how he means everything to you and what you want for the future in words.

I had the same list as you ten days ago (my groom didn't have shirt, shoes or tie two weeks before wedding! ) and now I'm almost done. Just have the ceremony programs to tie together. You'll get through it!

I like nkarma's suggestion to make a list for each day (I'm a list person ) so you're able to get stuff done and not get overwhelmed.


You'll make it in plenty of time -- and you've got all of us here on PS ready to help with anything you need (music, necklace finding, whatever)

Don't worry, my wedding was less than 2 weeks ago and I was in the same place you are at that point. I was in classes till the Tuesday before our wedding! The night before, at the dress rehearsal-I handed our friend who did the ceremony a copy of it and she looked at and asked "uh will there be something under these headings?" I hadn't realized that I had put headings in 2 sections without writing the actual ceremony under it! Guess what we were doing at 11pm that night

It will all come together. Just keep writing the list and crossing things off.

Still to do:
Order placecards (already alphabetized and double-checked in my spreadsheet them though minus the table #s)
Welcome bags - buy stuff and tissue paper and assemble
Buy different bracelet possibly and purse
Get basket/something for ceremony programs
Confirm/decide on locations in city with Photographer
MUSIC, omg, everything, entrance, first dance song, dad/daughter, the whole shebang...
Buy guest book for photobooth doubles and notes to be written in
Women's bathroom basket and items

Hmmm... and I'm sure I'm forgetting a million things, but the to-do list is getting much shorter indeed, yay!
