Helping someone pick out diamonds to propose to his girlfriend. His max for stone is around $2750. He'd like as close to 1 carat as possible. It will be set in rose gold so I'm feeling it can go warmer in color to save money. Here are some options. I'd like to give him 3-4 to choose from.
Thoughts?

these are I's

Thanks...also does anyone recommend concierge? his budget doesn't qualify for 'free' service.

Happy fourth!

What concierge are you talking about? With all the knowledgeable Pricescopers, you certainly dont need it.

You need to be setting max depth to 62.3% and max table to 58%.

Agreed

Can you live with a smaller size and a few tiny inclusions under the table until you can upgrade at some point in the future for $0 or more for a special occasion, such as an anniversary, birthday, or holiday?

Why would you want to limit table size to 58% T?

On a +4ct stone I would agree, but 1ct or under????

We (Pricescopers), usually limit table size to 58% unless looking for a 60/60 diamond.

What is your suggestion? What can we go up to with a non-60/60 stone? By 60/60 I also mean lower crown (say 33 degrees and higher
pavilion to match). Be more than happy to learn that we can widen the range. Also, Super Ideals seem to limit to 58% but know that
not everyone is looking for Super Ideal specs or has the budget for it.

Not finding anything I consider "perfect" but I'm thinking pretty nice with the budget consideration. Most of these
would not be typical recommendations but...her ya go!

These intrigue me...
A little something under the table but it looks like its not right on the table (its lower). I think* it may be eye-clean
with normal viewing or at least you'd have to search for it. A few little other things around the edge of the stone
that I would think would be hard to see. Its a 1.03 so it gains him some size.

Also this one...feather on the table but I wonder how hard to see at normal viewing range. Not the standard crown/pavilion
angles we recommend. Gains a little size.

Cloud on the table

This falls into an FIC (Firey Ideal Cut) with a higher crown, lower pavilion, has a slight brown tint which I dont think
would be an issue for a rose gold setting...but YMMV

As I said, none of them is perfect. If he wants ideal specs, I would jump on the Whiteflash stone.

Little bit of large table/low crown but under the table looks pretty decent (again, not perfect...some leakage in corners of table).
Good price he could knock it out with an upgraded setting.

yes. .8 and above will work if he does a halo around for her. it will seem 'bigger' ..well cut i think is best.

Appreciate the help all....

I think my fave is the elongated that tyty posted:
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/cushion-cut/1.02-carat-k-color-vvs1-clarity-sku-17179510

but the table is bigger than my notes that recommend 59-63 [even ok at 55-65]...this is 67 and it has medium fluor. Not sure that matters. price is great though!! $1900

By the way my favorite is back available but price is $2600... thoughts?

And what are your thoughts of this one that's slightly less expensive than the one tyty posted
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...olor-vs2-clarity-true-hearts-cut-sku-17510463

here's the one that tyty posted.

https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...-color-vs1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-18185745

I'd like to find a round closer to $2k....I'll look and add here if i find one...

found 2. this one's a k
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...-cut-sku-15229864?uniqueID=5aecue5cq_15579817

this is a j and smaller

I like tyty's specs better than the whiteflash one I think.

Thank you so much!! I appreciate All the help and I will send him those we have selected plus some settings !!

I have notes for table :
round 54-57, can go to 60
cushion 59-63 best but can do 55-65 depending on other factors

for depth:
Rounds 59-63
Cushions: 67-70 [can do 61-68]
thanks!!

There have been all sorts of debates over the 24 years of my involvement with PriceScope.
I have offered $1000 bets for people who are supa dupa Idealists to pick their stones out of a line up with non H&A's and a range of proportions from this chart:
