Lipstick - what''s your favorite brand?

I''m looking for a new lipstick, something very bright red. I''d love suggestions on brands and potential colours if anyone has any.

Lancome, Dior and Nars are my favorite brands of lipstick. They all have some great shades of red.

I like Chanel for lipstick and gloss.

MAC and Nars are great for red lipsticks. I have trouble finding "true reds" from drugstore brands. MAC''s Dubonnet is my perfect red color for my skin tone.

My favorite every day red is Bobbi Brown Sheer Lipstick in Ruby. It''s a perfect red, and has sheer (not shiny) coverage, kind of like a lipstain. You can either wear one swipe for a very sheer look, or swipe it back and forth a few times for more intensity. I like it because you don''t need to carefully apply with liner & lip brush - it''s the perfect one to keep in your purse for every day.

HI:

I ususally end up with more Dior than anything else. I enjoy Chanel and Clinique makes nice products as well. Can''t recall the last time I wore Lancome or EL.

NARS Red Lizard

NARS Red Lizard is the one Penelope Cruz wears. It's red carpet fantastic!

I feel like these two brighten up the face in an innocent way - you can look like you're not wearing much makeup at all and kind of like those chic 40s babes wearing this lipstick!

Thank you all for the brand recommendations! I currently wear Chanel Rouge Allure in Lover and love it but want something else too. I keep forgetting to carry my current lipstick with me when I go out so I don''t buy anything too close. I plan to remember it for shopping tomorrow!
