Longshot ... help me find a Bill Blass dress?

I tend to feel most frustrated shopping whenever I''m *specifically* looking for a single thing - it''s always easiest to go out in hunt of a perfect pair of black dress pants, but should that be the day I cross a pair of oxblood pumps off my list instead, hey! No harm, no foul.

So, of course, finding something to get married in is a party and a half ....

Today I found the perfect dress ... at Loehmann''s, of all places, with two little flaws. One, it was a size too big, which I could have dealt with (well, which I would have found a seamstress to deal with), and two, it was black. I have no problems whatsoever with a nontraditional wedding dress - in many ways, I''d prefer it! - but I found myself a little averse to the black, specifically. If it''s still there at the end of the week, I might just say the hell with it and invest in some Rit, but in the meantime ....

In all of your searchings, ladies, have any of you by any chance happened to have come across a Bill Blass dress, calf-length, heavy cotton, flared skirt, corseted waist (boned interior corset, rather than being a huge design element) with a split bodice and removable straps? I adore this gown, I just find myself wishing that it came in blue ....

Hm, pretty! Maybe if the dress is still there this time next week I''ll pick it up ... though, if it comes in any other colors, I won''t say no to trying them on!
