Looking for a 1.25 to 1.40 round diamond

Hello! I'm looking to upgrade to a 1.25-1.40 carat round diamond. I've notice some websites are having sales on lab grown diamonds right now and was wanting to see about getting one now.

The issue I'm having is I don't know much about diamonds.

Anyone care to help?! Thanks in advance.

Hi @lindojack, what’s your budget? Do you have color preferences?

I haven’t had a chance to look at the one you posted, but off the certificate, the crown angle and pavilion angle both look shallow. You’ll see charts for ideal angles somewhere here on PS.

Is 1.50 carats (around 7.30-7.4 mm diameter) OK?
I have found one that is absolutely awesome looking, and listed at a great price...about half your stated budget.

Yeah, that would be fine! I'm not super concerned about size, honestly would be fine with anything between 1-1.5.

It is showing available at Adiamor, DreamStone, Brilliance, and Ritani so if there's a particular seller that you want to buy from, then ask for a price match.
As with all things internet: now that it's posted for the world to see, haste is something that you'll need to exercise.
You can always return a diamond, but you can almost never get one that you've missed out on.

I've got one ready for you to pounce on, if around 7.8x millimeters/1.8x carats isn't too much.
You can use www.DiamDB.com to compare two diamond sizes and get a rough idea of how it'll look...the downside if that site is it only shows the single ring finger instead of how the diamond would look proportionate to the whole hand.

Yes, I'd love some it you are willing to. Could it be around 1.30 carats? I think that may be my sweet spot.

Absolutely - I'll search in the 1.29-1.45 range

I found another great 1.50 that you may want to try and pounce on first, if you're thinking 1.50 is still OK.

The were able to secure LG680525317, it was a 1.60 you recommended. Is that still a good option on to look at or do you think some of the new options would be better?
