Looking for a Pink Round Stone

In a 9 mm size. I have a setting that will take up to a 9.5 size stone so I need something between 9 to 9.5 mm, must be round.

This is apparently more difficult than I ever anticipated! I want something in a medium/hot pink type of color, no pastels/violet tinges/burgundy undertones. A nice deep rose pink could be ok depending on what my eyes think. I'm thinking rubellite, tourmaline?

I've looked at literally alllll the listed CS vendors, and nada. eBay and Etsy are nothing. DB has nothing. Google doesn't give me anything. I even looked around at JTV and the like and still can't find what I'm looking for. Well, let me clarify. I don't want to pay $1K for a stone if I don't have to. I can find some that would work but they're over my mental budget. I don't have a strict financial guideline, but I am trying to stay under $750 at least and less than that if possible?

Anyone have any ideas or something sitting in their stash that they'll never set?

sadly my stone is only 8.68mm round :blackeye:

 What is it? I can always ask just what the limits of the setting are for certain ;))

I think you want a tanga garnet. Did you ask Barry if he has rough to cut one for you? Just because it isn't cut and on his website does not mean it can't be had there. write him and ask. Tell him all your color tone requirements and see what he can do. Same goes for Gene at precisiongem.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

I did find out the setting has to have at least a 9 mm, anything smaller won't work, but thanks for showing me your stone, minmin!

The tourmalines shown on the acstones website are pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, they are just too small. I didn't get in touch with them because they said their site was updated daily and I figured they'd put what they have available on there if they had one, but I'll get in touch with them now that I know to try. Thanks for the tips!
