I am throwing a bridal shower October 1st, and am trying to surprise the bride. She got a beautiful 0.6 carat Tiffany solitaire for her engagement and the ring box got lost in their move. She was pretty down about losing it and I know she would be happy to have another but T&Co. won't replace it?

Also the ones on EBay are obviously fake or over a hundred dollars (which... yeah, no).

Anyone have one kicking around they are willing to part with? I'll make a good offer! I have a listing over on LoupeTroop just look for Oreo's picture.

Also if you happen to have any other ring boxes like a secondhand Mrs. Box that might work too.

Do you want just the black box or that and the outside blue as well?

Both would be nice, but I think if it was just the black box that would be okay (because it holds the ring)!

I once brought a ring into T for cleaning once and when I picked it up, I asked if they could put it in a box because I wasn't going to wear it.

I think I may have one that belonged to a gold band that I have subsequently lost. It may take a bit of looking to find it but I will keep you updated.

It was a no go for her. She clearly had a T&Co. ring on her hand but they said too many get used to sell counterfeits. I get that it's brand protection, but really? That blue box is what people pay the premium for.

Lily that would be amazing! :appl:

Oh I'm sure that they don't give boxes out over the counter. I was just saying that I brought the ring in to be cleaned, and when I said I didn't have anything to put it in when I picked it up, they handed over a box like it was nothing.

I do hope that you're able to find one. It is really sweet of you to try.

They offered a pouch, but box was a definite no. Ugh!

Sorry to hear that.

I guess I caught them on a good day. Or maybe it was because I was having a bunch of my boyfriend's sterling silver flatware repaired at the same time. The ways of Tiffany are indeed mysterious.

***bump***
Anyone?

It will take a bit of searching for me and I may not have time until next week. One of my nephews is getting married and my sister is having the wedding at her house so we are all busy. I will keep you updated! :wavey:

A PS guardian angel came through today! I am thrilled. Thank you everyone!

Excellent! :appl: :appl:

Yay!

Glad it worked out! I was bummed reading the thread as I had a few that I actually threw away when I moved recently. I don't care much for unnecessary boxes or labels, so unless they are practical for storage, I tend to throw away. If I had any, I would have gladly sent to you for free! But happy it all worked out!
