Looking for an opinion on this cushion diamond

Hi all, thanks in advance for the help!

I'm looking for a cushion cut diamond with old mine cut influence so I've been leaning towards cushion brilliant vs modified (limiting my options), but I've got it narrowed down to one that seems to check all the boxes, the cut rating has been different across different sites. What do ya'll think about this one? Pro/cons would great

Unfortunately the first one you posted is really poorly cut. Do you want an antique cushion?

For such a high price id want something that was close to perfect. Have you looked at single stone? Example of a much smaller stone but the awsthetic is gorgeous

Thanks for the help! I felt like that first one met all the requirements, but something looked weird in the pictures so I'll take a look at the other options you sent over. I agree at that price, I should have to big making many concessions

The ones you posted are not antique/ 'old mine' style cushions. If you want an old mine, you should get an old mine, not settle for a cushion brilliant just because it also has bigger flashes than a 'crushed ice' cushion.

We have a lot of people here who are super knowledgeable about antiques, if that's what you want. Or there are modern antique-like cuts like Victor Canera's old mine cushions @lovedogs mentioned or the ones from Distinctive Gem. Do you have any photos of your dream ring or diamond?
