So I'm getting married over a year away, but finding our wedding bands is my first priority hehe.

I know what I'm getting, however I'm trying to locate a cheap alternative for my fiance.

He's not going to wear the ring after the wedding, so it'll be just for symbolism and photos only, therefore we don't want to spend too much on it. I've tried looking online for something that fits our criteria but having no luck. Can anyone recommend me an online vendor who would stock wedding bands less than $150, the width is less than 4mm (because he's got really long, thin fingers) but isn't plain? I would like some sort of 'feature' on the ring - I've found most of these are wider than 4mm. Can be any metal so long as it's not yellow gold. Would also prefer if it could be shipped to Australia as well.

I can't find the shop at the moment, but I bought a 7mm plain tungsten carbide band for DH for $60 from an Amazon-affiliated vendor. He loves it, and the great thing about tungsten is that it doesn't scratch, so his band still looks brand new.

I second sig's suggestion. Do some digging on www.jamesavery.com... They do really nice work; the pieces are not flimsy. And they do international shipping.
"For International Shipments, please phone our Call Center at 1-800-283-1770. Customers are responsible for international duties, taxes, and refused shipping charges."

I just found the vendor we ordered from: Perry Olsen (http://www.perryolsen.com). I found them to be speedy and reliable, and they have a big selection of men's tungsten rings, including many that are inlaid with diamonds and other metals.

we got my fiances wedding band from titaniumkay.com for $54.00 , it is actually a very nice tungsten ring. He works with his hands and wanted something inexpensive for obvious reasons.
Awesome ring for 54 bucks!
