So, I went dress shopping again today and found another Jasmine dress that I really love, but it was at a place where they don''t allow pictures and won''t tell you the style number

. I looked on the Jasmine website, but I can''t seem to find it, which means it isn''t in the 2006 line. Does anyone know where I can find pictures of the older jasmine dresses that haven''t been discontinued? (The store assures me that it hasn''t been discontinued)
 
It was somewhat similiar to this Maggie Sottero, in the cut of the dress (it''s a ballgown) and the sash, but the sash on the Jasmine was the same color as the dress and there was an itty bitty bow at the center. I''m pretty sure that the material was different though and I don''t remember anything about beading (it''s so unfair that they won''t let me take pictures!)

Thanks gypsy! It actually wasn''t much like the other things I''ve been trying on, but I really loved it and it fit like a glove

This one isn''t it, but this has a dropped waist and sweetheart neckline that would look great on you.

Is it this? It has the little bow under the bust.

This one has an itty bitty bow and has the peek-a-boo feature you liked in the other gown.

Haha thank you! The frequent dress searching is due to the fact that I''m still job searching out here and there''s a limited number of jobs to apply to, so once I''m done for the day there isn''t much else to do

Go to the Jasmine site and pick "collection", then "best selling styles", then it''s on page "36-40". The Jasmine site has a lot more styles under "best selling" than under the newest collection links. It''s confusing.

Glad you found it! I ordered my dress from Pearl''s place and it''s due to be here any day now; if you decide you have to go that route, I''ll let you know how mine turns out.

p.s., if it fits like a glove, you can probably buy the sample for cheaper than the new gown price and not have to deal with online vendors.
 
Ah, I see it now. The sample prce is almost $200 more than getting it from Pearl''s, though, so I''ll probably go that route.
 
That''s cool. They were really nice when I ordered...BUT quotes don''t inclue tax, so my gown price was something like $80 over the quote they gave me. If the sanple is $200 more, but included alterations and the quote was before tax... I don''t know. It''s been kinda stressful waiting 10 weeks for my gown to arrive! You don''t get tracking info or anything, it''s just expected to show up. I''d rather save you that anxiety if I can! Anyway...

...is this THE ONE? Does your mom like it?
 
It might be the one. My mom saw the picture on the website and said it''s pretty, but I think she really has to see it on me to really see how it is. When I called they told me that there''s no tax on out of state orders...hmmm...They also said that it would only be $12 shipping. Is that close to what you paid? They''d be shipping to Pittsburgh, PA. The other price I got didn''t include alterations.

I''m going to see tomorrow if another store in town has this dress. My favorite store has sooo many Jasmine''s that I think it''s pretty likely and they let you take pictures

Blegh. I went to the original store where I found all of the Jasmines and they didn''t have the one that I wanted to try on and won''t be getting it in anymore. I found another that I like, but they have a new no picture rule. I hate that rule!

I REALLY like that one. It would look great with your figure too! That drooped waist and bow detail under the bust is just the thing!
 
I also tried on one very simliar to this by Pronovias (this one is also pronovias). Does anyone know of any other company that does this neckline? I haven''t seen any others like this
