since you are all so knowledgeable...my husband is wonderful and is totally okay with me mixing up what I wear as my wedding set. He did mention yesterday, though, that I only my wear what we call “original bling” a couple of times a year. I have some awesome bands but none I like with it. So - I’m looking for advice on what would look good? I’m not in the market asap but would pick something up if the right thing came along.
The stone came from a cocktail ring of his great grandmothers. It measures about 7.1 mm x 7.4 mm and was appraised to be an O-P EOC but I don’t have a very on it so I don’t really know if the color is really that or is it really is an OEC. That’s doesn’t matter to me, just finding something that looks good with it is. Straight bands don’t look great with it, nor do bright modern stones. Would a warm moissy OEC band look good, a curved gold only band? Something else? It’s also two tone which adds to the conundrum. And I wouldn’t be looking to spend a bazillion dollars. No budget yet, just looking for ideas.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
