Hi, I was passed down this ring by my great grandmother. Its stamped 9 karat gold and I believe the stones are cz. Was looking to selling it as it's a shame just sitting here in my jewellery box. The the style is in a Rolex jubilee style, as was told by a local jeweller. Not looking for much, open to offers, not sure where to start . Any questions please get in touch xx20190804_083003.jpg20190804_083027.jpg20190804_083146.jpg20190804_083222.jpg20190804_083034.jpg

I’m sorry you don’t love the ring you inherited. If you aren’t happy with the offers you get, you could always have the center flower cluster cut out and mounted onto a chain. The shank could be a torque style then, and perhaps more salable.

Even if the stones are just CZ, it would be pretty to wear as a necklace - there are so many summer concerts and casual bbq events where many of us prefer to wear costume casual pieces so there’s no fear of losing them and we can still enjoy bling.

Best wishes!

Wow, if it is from your great-grandmother, and you do not care for it, why not pass it to another member of the family? It's true value is intrinsic as a family heirloom. Based on the 9 karat gold and paste/glass stones, selling it likely would yield a very minimal amount of money.

If you are intent on selling it, per the PS Preloved Forum rules, you need to list it somewhere (eBay, DiamondBistro, Loupetroop) and then link the listing here. In your listing, be sure to include the ring size and dimensions/details of the ring along with your price.

I agree with @marymm and if no one else in the family wants it, perhaps have the metal melted down and remade into something you would wear as a reminder of your family member ... even if it’s just a simple stackable band.
