Hey everyone.
I know it''s been a while since I posted and I''m SO sorry, but I''ve been sent all over the country for business trips the last few months. Congrats to all the newly engaged pricecopers.
Well my news is quite exciting.
I get home from work yesterday and as I walk through the door he says "come lets go out to movies" and kind of rushes me out the door. he insists that we go to this particular mall even though it only has about 3 movies showing... I mean we NEVER watch movies there EVER. What makes me suspicious is that this mall is just down the road from his office and I know he does all his shopping there.
So as we walk through the door he kind of corrals me towards this jewellery store window... which in itself is no big deal I always look at jewellery store displays. Except he walks straight to the very end of the row and points at one particular ring amongst about 50 and says "what do you think of that one?" in this hilariously over-casual voice. I mean he actually zoomed straight to this exact ring, hehehe subtle my sweetheart is NOT. Well I told him it was lovely and we wandered on our way.
He goes quiet for a while and then blurts out that he has booked us a holiday to the mountains for a week and then the coast for a week just before christmas and am I ok with that. ummmm YES I''m ok with that!
So yeah it really looks like my proposal is going to happen between the 9th and 20th of December!
For those who have been following my story and remember that we had decided against getting me an engagement ring and instead putting the money into the bond... he told me to shove it! In those exact words! He said that he''d thought about it and he''s going to do this thing right whether I want to or not and I must just deal with it. So I''m getting an engagement ring after all.
Now the part you actually care about
the ring he pointed out to me was a semi eternity band set with what looked like 7 small cushions. very elegant and simple and would sit flush with a plain wedding band. Of course knowing my bf he could change his mind to another ring in a heart beat
but I''m 90% sure its going to be a diamond band.
That''s all the news from here in South Africa, I''ll keep you all posted on developments but I recon this will be my last thread before the "take me off the list" thread.
