I have an assortment of five loose gems I purchased (individually) in 2015. I never had them set, so it's time to sell. I'll list each as an individual posting under this thread. I know next to nothing about gemstones, so I'm including the description that was given in each original sale. Clearly I knew I would be selling them, to have saved this information!

1. Umbra Garnet by Precision Gem. $185 shipped. Here is the description from the website:
3.085 ct. A few years back, these garnets started to be found in the Umba region of Tanzania. Steve from New Era gems named them "Umba Garnet", and for the most part it has stuck. Some people are calling them Malaya Garnet, but I would classify them as such. In the rough, they are more orange, but after cut they do get very red, especially in incandescent light, where they thrive. This one is loupe clean.

Color: 10/10 Clarity: 10/10 Brilliance: 4/5 TQR: 9.3

2. Ryan Quartz Amethyst. $195 shipped. Again, the website description:

Precision-cut amethyst from Uruguay, in a square cushion. Deep, beautiful purple color that is not too dark and throws off red reflections from the pavilion facets. Gorgeous stone! Eye-clean, untreated.

3.07ct.
9.90mm

3. Master Cut Gems Green Tourmaline. $165 shipped. This one is my favorite, and reminds me why I started collecting these in the first place. If you want the pictures from the seller's website, message me privately. I don't want to post pictures that aren't mine -- but they are much better.
From the website:
Origin: Nigeria
Weight: 2.24 carat
Size: 9.2x7.8x5,5mm deep
Clarity VVs2
Cut: brilliant oval
Color: 90 percent fine green 10 percent pink
Treatment: none
Note: This gem was cut by me from an alluvial 6.21 carat piece of rough I got from Hilmar back in 1998. It has just a tiny reminder it started its life as a bi-colored gem. But the amount of pink was so little it did and does not affect the color as the only way you see the pink it to view it from the pavilion. It is a very intense green and it also has very fine light return. I do not see this material offered any longer... No treatment in any way...

4. A mystery stone. I have no record of what this is, and being clueless, can't begin to guess. If you want it, yours shipped for $20. Whatever it is, I'm sure I paid more for it.

5. Ryan Quantz Chrysoprase Cabochon. $67.

If my prices are off, please feel free to make me an offer. I've listed them at the prices I paid in 2015, less shipping.
