I'm trying to post a ring for sale on Loupetroop that I've previously mentioned on this forum and I keep getting the message that the request entity is too large. It's error 413 and I'm only trying to upload 2 photos that I posted on here without any problem. just wondering if anyone can help.

One way is to Email pics to yourself.
Most email platforms you can resize easily.
Then save again to your device.
You can easily tell it from the original, because resolution is crappier.
Attach the crappy copy to loupetroop.

Sometimes when this happens to me, I'll add just one photo and save the listing, and then go in to edit it, and add the 2nd photo ...

Thank-you Rfisher. Your suggestion worked really well and I've completed the listing. I tired your suggestion marymm before i asked for help and it didn't work. Guess my pics were just way to big. Thanks for the help.

I had the same problem and was told to download an app called Lit Photo which adjusts the image so it can be downloaded on LT. It's pretty easy to do and worked. Curse of having a nice phone/camera I guess!

You can attach the high-res photos here on PS, then post a link back to PS in your LT listing.

I have to do the same thing that @marymm does!!=)2 so what she said, lol..:mrgreen2:

LT doesn't accept photos if the file size is too large. I tend to have the best luck if I resize the photos to be under 300KB (which is much smaller when compared to your average unadjusted cell phone photo, which is 3 MB or more).

I have had this happen before. My solution was to list the item with one picture under 700KB. Then when the listing goes through, edit it one picture at a time to get the pictures you want in your listing.

Yeah this is pretty much what I have to so also..;)2 Not sure why but it works this way for me..

Hi! Newbie - slash - lurker here with another loupetroupe error message. Has anybody had the generic error message “we’re sorry, but something went wrong” at the point of saving? I’m attaching a screenshot.... I have no idea what the problem is! I’m using small pictures - in fact, they are pictures I’ve used on the site before. All I’m trying to do is relist a piece with a reduced price... can NOT figure out what the problem can be! I tried editing an old listing to see if that would work but no luck there either... scratching my head on this one and would love it if anybody has any insight. Thanks so much!!

o_ONever seen that one before.. They might be working on the site. I would give it a little while then go back and try it again. Make sure to delete all cookies and cache before doing that. Hope it gets sorted out for you,:confused2: I know it is frustrating.. It takes time to create listings!!=)2

Ah, thanks so much Taurus. That’s probably exactly what’s happening. At least after the third time it happened I had the good sense to save the text as a word document! :wall:

It suddenly struck me that I could list it directly here too... obviously not the fastest learner!

You sure can!;)2 But don't give up on LT..I am sure that the kinks will be out soon.
