Long term lurker, seldom poster!
Just wanted to pop up a quick write up about an Australian vendor I had a lovely experience with.
Luxe by West (based in Adelaide) offer lab grown diamonds and a few basic setting options, with lots of scope to customise something very easily. I reached out to Diana after stalking Alex Park’s Instagram to no avail, and asked if she had some stones that I could see in person. Luckily for me she did, and the rest is history!
I chose this lovely 3.18 F VVS2 stone, and talked to her about what I’d ideally like in a setting. She arranged to have a CAD created, I gave it the OK, and here we are 5 weeks later.
The setting is a tapered cathedral (2mm to 1.5mm, two tone 18kt rose and white gold). I’m really happy with how it turned out. For the Aussies, it came in around $4K AUD - very competitive for a local vendor.
