Madame Blueberry- On Her Way Setting Ideas???

I have recently purchased a lovely blue oval from AJS.
The stone will be here tomorrow, I am hoping to be able to get off work early enough in the day to pick it up.

I am fairly certain I would like a three stone setting, but I am open to most anything except pave. I want this be a ring I can wear all day everyday. I am positive I want platinum and comfort fit shank, but maybe an asprey shank?
Three Stone with Trillions? (This is the style I am leaning towards at the moment)


Three Stone with Crescent/Half Moons? (These sides seem a bit small to me)


So! How would you set this stone and who would you trust to do it?

Another option would be with traps. Do you remember Erica/graces 5 stone asscher ring? Not sure if I can find it using
the new and improved search engine but something like that would also be pretty!

Good for you for making a firm decision! I would suggest you be careful about the setting itself for the sapphire so as not to close it in too much (I have learned the hard way that the sapphire needs to match the setting and vice versa - duh!)...and what harm can a few side diamonds do <she says grinning maniacally>
