Mahenge spinel ring by CvB!!!

I can't believe my new mahenge spinel ring is done! Gah...the excitement is real! Where's a jumping up and down emoji when you need one? This is my first ring project done with Cassie at CvB (something that's been on my personal wish list for a long time). Her work is stunning and the details are utter perfection. Plus, she was so nice and is very easy to work with.

I was lucky enough to buy the spinel straight from Caysie. As a mahenge spinel has also been on my wish list for a long time, I am beyond excited to be able to call this my own. A CvB setting and a mahenge spinel. It's two goals joining in one harmonious moment. According to her listing, the mahenge is a bit more pinkish-orange in person (skews more red in the pics). Also, There is a crystal cluster on the table, which I'm calling her birth mark. The color more than makes up for it, in my opinion. She's a delicious 3.12ct (measurements: 9.15x8.22x5.66).

The setting looks so delicate and feminine and boy, oh boy, am I with you on those double claw prongs.
Re: The jeans. It's a question I ask myself on a daily basis. Seriously though, I think it's all that color in one tiny package!

The fleur de lis is probably my favorite element on this setting. I love how detailed it is!
