I''m so excited! I skipped out of work for a few minutes and went over to the post office...I asked the guy behind the counter to hand cancel them(i had heard sometimes they are pains about this) and they were so nice about it! Probably because I called and asked what would be a good time today to bring them in and I went within that time frame :) Just some advice if anyone else wants to do that!

I have never had such a nice experience at a PO before, it actually put me in a good mood, that and the fact that it is 60 degrees and sunny!

I can''t wait for responses, its going to be so much fun getting the mail and not just getting bills!

Now i just need to pray that the older folks get the "RSVP postcard" and not call me and ask where the envelope is

YAY! You guys are getting married 2 weeks before us but we just mailed out our invites too since our caterer needs the information ASAP. We have postcards too, hopefully, no one is confused and remember to put their names on them!

I started panicking today because I realized my RSVP date is May 1st!

May 1st is plenty of time! Ours is April 10th only because our caterer hasn''t even given us a firm contract to sign for the food cause we are all over the place with the numbers. So I rather just get them out and find out the firm numbers. Of course, there are those that aren''t going to RSVP on time, or at all...

The food is the last main thing we have to get done so I''m really excited to see the RSVPS start rolling in.

Congrats! I''m excited as well. I''m at 88 days, it cant get here fast enough!

It''s amazing!

I mailed ours last Tuesday, and last night I had TWELVE of them in the mailbox. I feel like a little kid at Christmas or something!

Oh dear... both you and cupcake muffin are getting married AFTER me and I''m not sending my invites out until March 22.... Maybe I should do it sooner! Although, my caterer doesn''t need our final count until the week before the wedding. YIKES! 80 days for me!

No worries! I''m only a week after you and my head count is 2 weeks before the reception, so I''ve asked for them a month in advance. You''re actually ahead of me as you have more time to get the head count to your vendor!

Someone at my company today made me feel horrible, she said "you''re only giving guests a month and a half to respond?" We did send out save the dates in september and we''ve had our date set for over a year. This isn''t a surprise!

80 days is plenty of time! :)

Stephbolt, 12 in one day? That must have been nice! I can imagine it must be like christmas time! I can''t wait :)

Don''t worry! You have plenty of time. We only sent ours out now since we need it for the food. And also, it''s a small island we are getting married on and if they plan on coming they really need to jump on the accommodations. Now I feel like we are jumping the gun with 102 days to go!

OK I feel better now!

Yay!!!!! How awesome! It was lovely today, wasn''t it??

i mailed mine out today too! super excited!

although, i have to admit.. i haven''t handwritten that much in a long time. thumb is calloused.. hehe

Yay! Nov, we''re date twins too. We mailed our invitations last week and today I received SEVEN RSVPs already! It was such a nice surprise because our RSVP date is April 15th. I wanted to allow some time for contacting those people who don''t bother to send the RSVP back and I have a feeling it will be a bunch of people.

Princess it was so nice out today. I hope it stays like this, even though they are calling for rain, 60 and rainy is fine with me! Its been a terrible winter!

Jess...I had my mom hand write them, she has a beautiful calligraphy style hand writting, she saved me! When is your date?

Maevie, it was a relief, I actually feel like I''m getting married now! :)

Caribqueen...thats so exciting! I hope people respond to me that quickly! Our day is coming quick...it will be here in no time!

i tend to think my handwriting is pretty nice, however i have to admit that by the 100th invite it was starting to look... a little less nice. ha. i wish i knew somebody who could have done them in calligraphy! i bet that looks beautiful!

our wedding is may 15th. coming right up!

oh, and nov.. i get what you mean about hoping that people realize that they are supposed to send the cards without the envelopes. my personal little freak out is worrying that people will realize i already put the cards INSIDE of the envelopes. of course, they are open so once they look in there they''ll see the cards. i just hope they know to look.

maybe i should quit worrying about the small stuff and give people a little more credit. hehe.

I''m sure your hand writing is beautiful! I just couldnt bear writing out 100 invites. I have so much going on, school, work and we''re closing on a house in 2.5 weeks...I cant take it anymore!

I keep telling myself to stop worrying about the little things too...yet I can''t seem to do it...

I''m sure they will figure that the RSVP card is inside the envelope...Thats where I would look for it!

I''m sure people are smarter than we give them credit for, planning a wedding makes us magnify everything 100%!

YAY!
