Major update

Hi all,

First let me apologize, a while back I started a thread sort of asking for advice, and I came back and read some of the very helpful replies but then I wasn''t able to be on here for a few weeks so I never responded. So thank you to all the people who responded before. The issue was solved happily.

Anyhow, I really have not been expecting the BF to pop the question until next April/May at the earliest. However, he has been dropping MAJOR hints lately. For example, referring to me with his last name (!) Then last night, he launched into a BIG talk about how we should really be married, how we need to discuss financial implications, we need to start preparing for this, etc. Then he actually started asking me about e-ring preferences! Woah. At this point I wouldn''t be surprised if I''m engaged by New Year''s, but I''ll go ahead and assume next spring anyway just to be safe.

I knew he was headed in that direction, but I didn''t know he was so serious. He has been thinking about it a lot and planning.

I am so blessed that my soul mate feels as strongly about me as I do about him.

Thanks all. It's very exciting, and he actually brought up ring styles again last night. He's really gearing up for it. I'm also encouraged that he actually wants my input - I posted before that I think his natural taste in jewelry might be completely opposite of mine, and frankly kind of sucks. But he seems intent on popping the Q soon and getting me a ring I will really enjoy.

By the way, here is something that is right up my ally. What do you think?
