Congratulations and good luck with proposing. Is that an insription on the inside of the ring you can see in the pic of it in your hand? And if it is, can i be nosey and ask what it says?

Very pretty! I''m sure she will love it.

yep there is an incription inside the ring it says..."In Unum Deum" it''s Latin for "In One God" that''s my own symbolization of making a promise of loving her for all eternity not only to her but also to God

I love the unique setting. Great choice. I am sure she will love it.

BEautiful!!!!! Thanks for the hand shots and pics of you and your new FIANCEE!!!!! Congratulations - you two look beautiful together and so happy!!

I see from your profile you''re from the Philippines. I hope you and you''re loved ones are all doing well in this tragic time. It must be surreal to be so close to the disaster but (I hope!!!) relatively unscathed at the same time.

The diamond is .50ct??? It looks much larger than a .50ct even if it''s only a size 3 ring.

Pogie, the new pictures are fantastic. Especially the one with the both of you, I can simply see the happiness radiating from the picture!

The stone certainly looks much bigger than a half ct on your girl's finger. Wherever did you end up buying the stone from though? Also hope that you're unaffected by the earthquake/ tsunamis!?

aww, you guys look so happy! and the ring is great! congrats and best wishes

well luckily we weren''t affected by the tsunamis caused by the earthquake, though some of our unfortunate countrymen went thru a hard ordeal when the country had three typhoons in a matter of a weeks time.

well all we can do is pray for those who were affected by the tragic incident, but of course just like in the story of Noah''s ark there is always a tommorow to look forward to....thanks!

well it''s either the stone is really a .50 or the person i talked to gave me a bigger diamond for my ring

i read somewhere here that a tension design really makes the stone bigger than it looks, even the person who made the ring was surprised to see that the design made it look big.

i went thru a lot of people/jeweler''s, luckily when i told my friend about my plan he said that one of our common friend''s mom is a jeweler, so i talked to this other friend and he introduced me to his mom, i told her everything i wanted about the ring, she never said anything except that she''ll have the ring ready in two weeks, after two weeks i came back to see her and right there in front of me....the ring of my imagination finally came into reality!

she is a dealer of diamonds here in the Philippines, she sells the stones to different clients who have stores all over the country, she also has a sister who owns a factory that makes the jewelries she sells to VIP clients.

i was lucky enugh to have met her ''coz she was the one who chose the ring, she then gave her sister the design of the ring together with the stone....and now it''s in my fiancee finger

I really love that setting! It''s so unique! Will she get a band that is fitted to the e-ring in a wave like shape?

yup! i''m still thinking of a good design to fit in the e-ring so that the two rings will be perfect together

you are truly right! LUCKY is the word for that, i was worried that i might get robbed or tricked in buying a diamond, second i was afraid that nobody will be able to follow the design i wanted for the ring, so i guess i am LUCKY
