Marchesa diamond cut quality?

Hi everyone,

My local jeweler has listed a consignment tennis bracelet from Marchesa: 8.50 TCW of princess cut diamonds for $9,000.

I haven't taken a trip down to check it out; does anyone know if Marchesa jewelry uses a standard of cut quality? My wife's B-day is coming up and I would like to get her another tennis bracelet. Most of her jewelry is either ideal and super ideal from vendors here, so I don't want to dip far below that quality, but I also would like to get something in the next week.

I was on www.TheRealReal.com this morning so I looked at about 8 Marchesa tennis bracelets. It appears that they tend to be made with SI clarity grade, GHI colored diamonds. A quick look at Whiteflash revealed better quality stones...F,G color with VS clarity.

I think it would be fair to say that Marchesa retail prices are higher. On a positive note there are a lot of options to buy on the second hand market. I did a search for Whiteflash Tennis Bracelets and none came up. The same search for Marchesa produced 15-20.

Ha! I doubt anyone sells their WF tennis bracelets. Trades in to upgrade, sure, but who doesn't like a tennis bracelet?
