The black jade bangle is phenomenal. It is glossy with a mirror polish that allows me to see my reflection and it is a heavy piece that feels great on my wrist.

For size perspective the bangle has a width of 14mm diameter and has an inner diameter measurement of 60mm. I am unsure of the outer diameter measurement. The bangle has no flaws (cracks or stone lines) and is untreated.

Edwards jade is a pure black nephrite jade from Wyoming. The supply of this jade is very limited because mining stopped several decades ago. Because of this, this bangle cost about five times as much to make as my green jade bangle. The black jade bangle was $1,500





Fully tracked and Insured shipping is $25 within the United States. If it is less to ship an item, I will refund you the difference. Returns are not accepted because I am a private seller. The prices that I have asked for each item are slightly negotiable so please do not hesitate to ask. I can provide additional images and videos upon request.

I am soooooo sad that your Edward's black bangle is just a few mm too small for me! This is a fantastic deal if anyone is considering it.

I worked with Alan on a special bangle earlier this year and was so torn over whether to get one just like this or a round in his new super fine blue jadite. I ended up going with the blue and love it...but still think about that black and I know I'll be going back to have one JUST LIKE THIS made. Also, incidentally, I'm not sure when you purchased this from him but the price in April of 2022 for the black was quoted higher than you paid, gingercurls, at 2k.

How translucent is the blue jadeite?

Hi @userangl28212003 Allan (the person who made the bangle) said that the bangle has medium translucency. He gave it a 6 out of 10 for translucency. I attached a screenshot of the Etsy listing for the bangle so you can see what he said about the translucency.
