Matched blue sapphire pair

These are from AJs. I’m hoping it will be worth the chance of getting from Bangkok. Ron confirmed that they have no windows or extinction. Just from looking at a pic of my ring, it seems they would be close.

They are holding them for me with a deposit until after my cruise so they don’t arrive while I’m out of the country. As such, they are now off we webpage.

Could I get some more opinions on the video? I haven’t bought from overseas before and where they would have to be returned overseas.

Do you think they would blend with my ring? I noticed on IG I think that has has had these since 2017 so it makes me wonder why they sat so long (unless they were waiting for me )

Well, they are on the way and I should have them next week. I hope they work!!! If not, I can send them back and work with either Inken or Gary. (But Gary doesn’t normally stock pairs, so he would look for me at a gem show)

I’m glad you took the plunge! I hope you love them when you see them in person. I have been looking for a matched pair of sapphires for a three stone ring and pairs are tricky! It’s very hard, and maybe not even possible (?) to find a perfectly matched pair in both color and cut. I think you just need to see them in person to see how well they are matched and know if they will work for you. The pair you ordered look beautiful! I only have a couple of stones from AJS and they are the same in person as they appeared on their site and Ron was very helpful. I hope these are your perfect pair!

OMG they are amazing! They are so sparkly and I can’t believe that I lucked out and they are mine.


They are not an exact match to my ring sapphire (which is more violet) but I’m very happy that they will individually blend with each other— those of the medium blue group.

Ok, they are getting sent to Brian Gavin today for setting. Lesley is making me a pair of cushion jackets (I’m just DYING that im getting all of this fantastic jewelry lately) and my diamond studs have to be reset out of the blue Nile martini jackets. So since these studs are nearly the same dimensions as my diamond studs, I will have them set the sapphires in the same 4 prime basket setting and they will make sure it all works with the jackets.

BG said he is making the jackets custom for my studs and since the sapphires are just slightly smaller in diameter than my studs, they will have a tiny airline, which I think will be totally ok.
