Maybe sooner than I thought!!!

Ok, I've had major updates since I posted last time....

I may have accidently come across the ring (which I knew he'd ordered so that wasn't too big of a surprise) but with that I also found some notes with it with dates on of things to do, like pick up flowers 23rd March!

Now last month I posted voicing my suspicions of a proposal date of the 24th March even though he'd told me it was going to be 4th/5th August. There was just a few little things that made me think he was going to do it sooner, but now I'm pretty sure!

I do feel a bit guilty that I looked through the notes but there really wasn't anything that gave it away and I even resisted looking at the ring!

I'm so glad he's not making me wait until August... even March seems like ages away!

It really does sound suspicious! But almost TOO suspicious! My now fiancé confessed that if he hadn't proposed the way he did, he was going to organize a fake weekend getaway and intentionally leave out fake receipts/a fake paper trail to make me think it was happening then, and then propose BEFORE then so that I would be surprised. So I would say either your FF is doing a bad job of being sneaky, or an EXCELLENT job of being sneaky and throwing you off, and maybe it will be before then!! (I can't imagine he would fake you out and propose LATER as that would just be cruel...)

Though the fact it was with the ring could mean he is just failing at being covert haha. How well was all of this hidden??

My thoughts exactly. I'm not trying to burst your bubble of excitement, but you are ruining the suprise part of it for yourself. Half of the fun of getting engaged is not knowing when it's going to happen! Don't you want to be caught off guard and genuinely surprised?

I hope for your sake that he doesn't propose on that day, and that he is just trying to throw you off.

My advice: Stop thinking about it, stop trying to figure out exactly when he's going to do it, and let it happen. I promise that if you let him surprise you and do it when you least expect it, you will be so thankful!!! My fiancé completely caught me off guard, and the video of my face is so priceless. If you keep this snooping up, you are seriously going to ruin one of the most special moments of your life, and you can't get a repeat of it!

So, you came across it...try and put it out of your mind. When March comes and you go on your special hike he has planned (I think that is what I remember you posting), enjoy it. It will happen eventually.
