I have not purchased one piece of jewelry in over 4 years and thought that my first colored stone would be a Montana sapphire but when I saw this ring on Etsy I knew she was meant for me. The color of the zircon reminds me of our trip to Costa Rica and visiting the Rio Celeste waterfall. The description from the vendor is as follows:

The zircon is approximately 13mm x 4mm and weighs around 2.00ct. The setting including the diamonds is 17mm x 11mm and as can be seen in the photos, covers a good area of the finger.

The mark in the shank is just legible and says "18ct PLAT" indicating a platinum setting and 18k band.

Size: 7 or N

Condition: Excellent - the zircon shows just very minor facet wear under magnification which is rare for a zircon of this age. The setting has been polished and the ring is in fabulous, wearable condition.

I had her sized down to 5.25 to be able to wear on my right hand. For being so old, it is in excellent condition. The stone has some abrasions but can't be seen with the naked eye and I am good with that. I will show the vendor photos first.il_570xN.1856706192_n7oy.jpgil_570xN.1904209871_22cy.jpgil_570xN.1856704992_s4sv.jpgil_570xN.1856704678_3lwr.jpgil_570xN.1856704770_2dy1.jpgil_570xN.1856704952_khnm.jpg

The stone, the setting, both look fabulous on your finger! Sooo elegant!

Zircons are my favorite and art deco is my jam! This ring is divine!! And she does look like a waterfall. I love everything about it!
I'm always looking for good Etsy shops, care to share where you found this beauty?

Wow! Just absolutely gorgeous and what an amazing gallery! Beautiful!

I thought I did not really like marquise stones until your ring was posted. I absolutely love it! From the vibrant colored zircon, to the diamond halo with what looks to be either french cut or emerald diamond accents. If I owned that ring it would go on my "never sell" list. Stunning!:appl:

I love the shape. It makes your finger look long and elegant.

What a pretty ring! I love the serene blue color and the setting is beautiful. Nice find!

Wow, gorgeous!!! Congrats! Can I ask who the Etsy vendor is?

Thank you. I got it at Troth Heirloom Jewels, they don't have much though.

I love it too. I never would have thought I would have gotten a marquise shape for a colored stone, but this one just spoke to me.

Definitely a moody stone, but I like that. It totally reminds me of my trip to Costa Rica, which is good because it is my happy place.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I still can't believe I found her and bought her. I have managed to have restraint over the years but felt I could not pass this ring up.

Sometimes restraint is overrated. Just sayin. :P2

Enjoy!!!

What a great find! After four years of restraint, you can totally justify it! Enjoy!
