Meet Lemonpepper, Krypto II and Liz Taylor!

Hello everyone,

I thought I'd pop in and share the newest members of my colored diamond family. I dropped them off at the jewelers yesterday, so hopefully they'll be set by Friday.

Just a heads up though, there's an overload of pics.

This is Lemonpepper, the 1.30 Light Yellow Pear. She has black inclusions that remind me of black peppers, especially with her color.

These pics were taken indoors in filtered light.

This is Krypto II, the .76 brownish orange oval with strong yellow-green fluoro. He's also included, but his color makes up for it!

This is Liz Taylor, the 1.00 Pear with very strong blue fluoro. She takes on a slightly bluish cast under natural or fluorescent light. She is also included, but they're white crystals, so they're not as visible. Her shape and color reminds me of the Taylor-Burton diamond, but a fraction of the size.

I greatly dislike PSv2 because all the posts beyond one paragraph gets cut off for me. Also, for the same reason, I cannot see the posted pictures. As of now, I get around this via cut & past or hit the reply button which adds a LOT of time, which is a huge PITA for me. After messing around, I finally got to see all three stones and it’s worth the effort!

Chrono, I'm sorry that 2.0 has been a PITA. It was easy for me to load the pics, but I haven't navigated the new system fully. I hope it wasn't too much work for you to see the pics. You should have told me and I could have emailed them!

So when you say "worth the effort" does that mean you like them? Do I get the Disabler's approval?

Awww, you too TL?? No worries, you guys are more active on PS than I am so you've gotten to know the drawbacks. I'm wondering if it's a new filter at work. I can't even get on my personal emals, FB or ebay at my school computer.

Davi, thank you! Your post made me laugh, you are very sweet. Honestly, you don't have to open up a special savings account. Just be forgiving with inclusions and modifiers, and if you can find a stone with strong fluoro, even better. Sometimes they literally make the diamond glow in any lightsource with UV.

You get the look of an intense color in a decent size without having to trade in your current car...or house.

Lady_Disdain, thank you! I'm so glad you like Krypto II and you're forgiving of his inclusions. I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one. Krypto I was my first radioactive stone. He was a 1.37 brownish yellow oval with very strong yellow-green fluoro. He was similar to Kryto II (brownish yellow by night, yellow-green by day) but with a greener body, and larger. What did I do? I lost him! I took him to work one day and carelessly placed him in my wallet without a gem bag. Needless to say, that wallet had a small hole. I looked everywhere, but I never found him again.

It breaks my heart to talk about him because I didn't realize how rare he was until I lost him. Here's a pic of him so you have an idea of what he looked like.

MissDebby, thank you! Fluoro diamonds give you the daytime look of desirable colors without having to break the bank. You should definitely get one, they are awesome! It's like getting two colors for one, if you don't mind yellow, brown or gray.
