Hi Everyone,

I need some advice! Last night, my boyfriend surprised me by asking me to go ring shopping on Friday. He has already met with Leon, who suggested I come in to provide some input.

So, here''s the dilemna. I love, love, love, Halo rings with a pave settings (either with a cushion or round cut - photos to follow) but I am already have a sapphire RHR with this setting although it is an EC. I''ve attached the photo of the ring (and please forgive me for the bad quality!)

I''ll also attach the ''style'' I originally wanted for the e-ring.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Ok, so here''s another shot of my RHR. Again, sorry for the quality!

Uggghhh!

Can''t seem to attach my ''dream'' rings...

So you don''t want to do that style again for your e-ring since you already have a ring like that? Is that it?

Yes, that''s it. That setting was always what I wanted, but I received the sapphire ring earlier this year and now think it''ll be too similar...

What a gorgeous RHR! For your engagement ring, what about a three stone or a solitaire? I think both are classy and are timeless.

I think a 3 stone or solitare would be good.. but what if you did a solitare with pave band, or a cushion with halo with just a simple band?

Your RHR is EC, Sapphire, with a split pave band.. if you did something like stated abone, it would be a little similar but not that much. I think they would be different enough that it wouldn''t bother you.

Leon has a lot of styles/suggestions to choose from that you wouldn''t have to worry about them looking the same. Would you want a solitaire or 3-stone? or something else? Since your dream ring pic won''t attach- can you give a basic description?

Hi there, CDN. Very lovely ring. My suggestion would be to bring the RHR with you and try to pick out a design where the two rings would complement each other. Good luck and have a wonderful time!

Great idea. Also if you want a 3 stone ring, have you seen Krstydarlings ring by Leon. It''s a round with pear sides, just a thought. Have fun tomorrow!!

Hi everyone,

thanks for the great advise! My first love was the Tiffany Legacy but have also loved Leon''s Ring Halo “623™” for a long while. I just had a minor freak-out today when I realized my ''ideal'' was very similar to something I already have, which is probably why my bf got if for me in the first place!

I will definitely bring my ring with me to our appointment, thanks for the suggestion. Am now leaning towards a solitare cushion with a single pave shank; came across Ashley Judd''s e-ring today and thought it was stunning.

Thanks again! I appreciate all your help!

p.s. Our appointment got postponed until Monday... which is a good thing ''cause I was feeling the pressure today!
