Melee studs, how to evaluate ?

Hi everyone :)
So a while ago I wanted to try something different and tried to get a tiny pair of diamond melee studs, that I was advised here to return, and I did and am happy about that :).
But I am finding myself still wanting a pair. I'm talking really small like .14 tcw ^^
So how do you know ?
Here is a pic of the not great ones for reference, you can see from the pic that the sparkle is lacking. They are tiny diamonds and not flecks, which I read to avoid, so I don't know what to look for really, maybe price point ? You just have to evaluate with your eyes. Are the stones bright, sparkly, free from visual defects? They may be able to tell you the color range and clarity range but other than that it’s up to whether you like the look or not.

I'm not sure...is that about 300 US dollars? I can barely see the diamonds. Do you like these? Cost a bit more, but the diamonds are more of a presence.

So... I didn't waste any time !

Here are my new babies :) !
I really like the melee style, they are really sparkly unlike the first pair (in daylight too, but it's evening here now :) ) ; I went without a bezel because they sparkled more :) and no thinking about mixing metals :)tempImagesg0yMX.pngtempImageYhMZfR.png

I really like them but please don't hesitate to advise me though like some posters kindly did the first pair if you think there is something off :), I won't mind :)
