Hehe the ladies encouraged me to start my own thread to keep things neat and tidy so here it is!

So I bought this tourmaline off JD and had him make me a ring in 14K Rose gold to keep costs down as low as possible! I am $25 over the $1250 limit so didn't make it into that thread!

But here is my new toy! It is booooootiful!!!!!!!! Jeff's cutting is superb and so is his jewellery making! I sent him a pic with very basic instructions and this is the result! I looooooove it so much!!!!!

@Burmesedaze he charged $600 for the ring, 14K rose gold

@dkata side shots tomorrow in the day! We are hippies so we use the dimmest light bulbs and only one light bulb in a room that requires about 3 so lighting is a shocker right now!

ooih @Burmesedaze the Pink Bandit was totally digging the rose gold! Even waved it around on his pinky to admire it! He normally ignores my other rings.

He saw it right away and was like "I thought this would be a train wreck when you decided on Rose Gold but it looks great."

Haha I am a lot more daring than him! He loves RG but I can bet my entire collection he would have gone WG if he made this ring!

Soooo I bought these!

I happen to spot them because @Burmesedaze was looking at the setting for the ones beside them which is cut out in this pic! Oh the enabling that happens on this forum!

They are rose gold jade danglies! Super cute and the video of them looks fantastic! Wish I could upload it!

That's a really nice setting, totally complements the gem and sparkles with diamonds! I don't think you could have done better with a new setting cost wise.

@voce I had a few crackpot ideas at first but decided to go simple!

This is my first toumaline and I adore it. It's not sparkly in a zircon kind of way but it is sparkly and very beautiful. I was reading up on their RI and I kept worrying there would be no sparkle.

@mellowyellowgirl I just love how it turned out. How do you not distract yourself with that striking beautiful color? Do you find yourself looking at it more often than you should when you're wearing it?
