Men''s Ring Design

I''m a newbie to this forum, and could really use some help. I''m in the process of purchasing a ruby (my birthstone) of around 2 carats, and want to have a ring made. I have searched (pretty fruitlessly) on the web for design ideas. Most of what I come up with are junky looking, mass-produced rings. Can anyone point me in the direction of a site or sites that I could use to get design ideas?

Also, I live in the Seattle area. If anybody has a recommendation for a goldsmith or designer in this area, I would appreciate hearing about it.

Shasavan7, do you like modern, old worldly, or classic kind of rings? What about how the ruby is to be set with prongs or bezel set? What shape is the ruby you want to purchase?

I actually have been looking at Greenlake''s site. So far the best one I''ve found for ideas--thanks. I am hoping to find a few others as well.

The ruby is a cushion cut, and I''m loooking to have it bezel set, or perhaps channel set--not really sure yet. That''s why I need help. Any other ideas or tips would be appreciated. What I want is a traditional, "classy" look, in 18k or possibly 20k gold. that''s as far as I''ve gotten.

Here a couple of really bad mock ups. Had saved these two rings and wondered what it would look like w/the cushion ruby. Now remember, they probably won''t work because you have to consider the depth of the stone, but it was fun to do.
