Mikimoto gift from FSIL!

Hello all!

I saw my FSIL this morning, and she brought me back some gifts from her recent trip to Japan - a Mikimoto necklace that is exclusive to Japan! The crazy thing is, she keeps saying it''s a late Christmas + birthday gift, but she already gave me gifts for both of those occasions! She also got the same necklace for my FMIL and two of FI''s aunts. I am so overwhelmed by her kindness, and in love with the necklace!

Also, can anyone suggest what I could wear this necklace with? I feel like it would look best with a dress, or at least something a little more dressed up than my uniform of jeans and flip-flops

Yes, you can. Only thing I would do is wear it a little shorter as most tops are gonna hide part of it. Of course, it would work great with a button down shirt, that''s umm.. really unbuttoned ..

It probably is silver

I really like silver! I own a lot. You''ll probably want to pick up a polishing clothing - the difference is night and day! If you wear the pendant a lot though, silver doesn''t tarnish as quickly. It could also be rhodium plated as well and then you wouldn''t need to buff it at all!
