I know I have a lot of random, small, odds and ends unset jewels I have no idea what to do with...

I came across this designer on a favorite jewelry blog the other day, and was inspired:

Perhaps I should just set 'em all together! Create something that look intentionally, um, random.

I know it's not to everyone's taste, but it sure is mine!

I think this is a great way of using and mixing small stones you may not set otherwise. Love the turquoise and diamond one in the top row.

I do too. If you turn it upside-down it would look like an ice cream cone!

That rutile quartz ring is cool.

velouriaL: is that your hand covered with all those diamonds?!!

I think so too

I love the idea of rutile quartz but the pendant I have doesn't show up very well :(( I can't help thinking it always needs a light source - maybe it would be different on a finger?

Haha I wish!! No, that's from the linked blog post. I do have a bunch of colored gems that need to be set-- nothing too spectacular, and no diamonds!-- that would look great like this. And I do like her manicure!

Yeah, pretty hawt manicure!

The centre ring in the top row looks like the sign to the Men's loo if it is turned the other way around.

Although it looks mix and match at first glance, you can tell that the designer took care to graduate the size of the stones and the ring have a certain pattern to it. I plan to do something similar for my FCD ring (different shapes and different colours).

Edited so that it doesn't look as though my last sentence is in reference to the first sentence. I have no intension of designing my FCD ring to look like a restroom sign.

And I'm sure it will not look like a men's loo! All kidding aside, can't wait to see what you design and know that it will be original, well made, and likely lovely if you are designing it.

These are so cool! I have a bunch of tiny stones that I have nothing to do with that are collecting dust too! Hmmmmm....

I loved this when I saw it on the blog too!! I just love the rings with the graduated crescent flowing around the center stone. I also really like the green band with stones of different sizes, it has such an organic feel!
