The other day I sent my disappointment letter (email) to the original bridal shop. The VP called me on Thrusday and asked me to bring in the dress so that she could see me in and measure the inside. So I told her I''d come in on Saturday. Meanwhile I called my seamstress and she hasn''t done any alterations to the second dress.
So I had my appt with bridal shop today and put on the gown. She measured the inside of the dress and it was made 2 inches too small in the hips...no wonder I looked like a sausage in it. She said she will call Pronovias on Monday and have them overnight the fabric for the front panel. There is a seam in the roushing, so they will remake the dress from that point down. So next Saturday I will have my revised gown to try on. She also refunded the $200 rush fee that I paid.
So the current plan is to clean the second gown and put on ebay.
