Hope everyone is having a great holiday season!

I've been on the hunt for an EC as perfect as possible within my budget <$8500. I came across this stone 1.3ct, F, VVS1. It does have faint fluoresce. Is that a huge issue? There is an ASET image available. Looks like strong light return (a lot of red!), but I'm not sure if it's necessarily a good thing that it doesn't have much contrast?

Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts! Thanks a bunch.

Video?
If the center flashes ok in motion its a good one.

If it was one big blob of red it might indicate an issue but it looks like the red is split into rectangles which is what you want.
Contrast will be ok, the real world is not an ASET and an EC is not a RB.
Video would show the last bit of info, does it dance?

Thank you! It does flash pretty well. Do you think fluorescence is gonna have a negative impact on the F color?

Also, what do you think about the ASET for this stone? It's a G color and doesn't have fluorescence. I wonder if it is a better option. Thanks!unnamed.png

faint fluoresce is not an issue.
The second ASET shows potentual but the first is a slightly better ASET image.

I think I might get the first one and see if I like it in person. Thank you for your insights!!

What are the numbers for the first one?

Around $8500. Is it a good price?
The Ps search above will solve the price question.
Thats what I would do if I answered anyway but imnot at my pc.
The numbers I meant were table depth and the rest.

And in the other corner, representing uninformed and idle curiosity, what is the depth and L/W ratio of the first stone? ASET looks like it's built like a wrestler.

Oops totally misunderstood you. Table 68% depth 64.4%. Gridle M-ST. All looking pretty good?

It's a 1.36 ratio!

Is there a return policy? I'd want to see that 1st one IRL.
I favor the squat ones, don't go by me.

tables on the big side.
Have you seen it in person or can you see it in person with a return policy?
How it dances will tell the story.
Its not a table size I would target but it can work when combined with a reasonable crown height.
It comes down to the dancing.

They have a 30 day return policy! I actually prefer a bigger table cause appears bigger. Here is the video: https://www.adiamor.com/Diamonds/Details/D52064268?q=52064268

Re; the video - Balls!!

CH is low but it does dance.
Not a lot of smaller flashes but a lot of large ones as to be expected.
Let us know what you think of it in person, view it in as many lighting conditions as possible.

Thank you!! I’m excited! Will check back with you guys when I get it.

Happy new year :)

Got it this morning - I’m loving it!

Congrates!!!!!

Is this the 1st one, the F?

Oh geez, you must have gasped when you took it out of the easel case.
Do you have a temp ring? We're going to need a lot of photos.

I put it on the window sill next to my workstation and couldn't stop looking at it especially in the sunlight. Got no work done lol

I don't have a temp ring but I'm gonna take it to the local jeweler and have it set in a gold ring!

If you don't have a loupe or microscope, ask the jeweler to show you the GIA inscription under his scope. It's a sweet non-accusatory way of saying, you're not going to switch my diamond. Although finding another like yours would be pretty difficult.

That's a good suggestion. I will definitely do that. Thank you!!
