Ooooh those are lovely! Can I ask where the settings are from?

Anita, Those are just yummy!

I especially love the lighter stone in the halo. Where did you get your stones and settings from?

Thanks so much Pieface, onvavation, Missrocks!

The stones and the settings are from the natural sapphire company. The micro-pave halo is rose gold. I will post pics of the loose stones. The salmon pad is just over 2 carats I think. The other one is vivid colour, and weights about a carat and a half.

This is the lighter one. It is portuguese cut, I think. It is really beautiful!

This stone is set is yellow gold.

For the second stone, you can see that the cut is not that great. It has slightly off-centered culet. But that colour is to die for, and NSC recommended this over a couple of well cut stones.

Wow those are both BEAUTIFUL! I love them and the color.

Ooh, very gorgeous. I love the rose gold. And the vivid stone just glows!

Yay, NSC!

Those are just gorgeous! For furture reference, if you buy a native cut stone with a not so great cut, you can have someone like Jeff White recut it for you!

Both rings are gorgeous!!

The top one is breathtaking !

They are so lovely!
The color of the haloed stone is my absolute favorite!
So beautiful...

Tradergirl,

Well, God only knows what that stone is

. They don''t even say how much it weighs!

Mine are from a reliable source, certified, and the appraiser confirmed that they are unheated/untreated.

What stunning colours and beautifully set! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Anita,

You know me and my love for Pads. Thanks for posting more pictures. They are sooooooooooooooooo beautiful. I LOVE your rings. I can just sit and look at mine for hours and see the different color plays in the light.

Linda

Thanks Sonomacounty and coatimundi!

Linda,

Thanks so much. Talking about pads, I can sit and admire these stones for hours and hours! I always try very hard not to look at it while driving. The orange tends to comeout more when sunlight hits the stone in certain angle (it is divine), and most of the time it happens while driving.

Now, how about your pendant project? Has it finished? I don''t remember reading about it after the initial post describing the design. I have a couple of loose stones, and I couldn''t do the necklace as I planned. I made some impulse purchase in December (the blue sapphire that I posted), and the necklace had to wait.

Anita,

Wearing Pads and driving to NOT mix. ha ha ha ha. I know what you mean about that. I almost ran off the road a couple of times.

My pendant project is on hold also. We had some unexpected expenses in November and December that set us back. Our Lhasa Apso had surgey a few week ago, that set us back even further. Hopefully, in a few months I can get my pendant made.

In the meantime, I look at the loose pads in their case all the time. LOL, in the sunlight, all kinds of light. They are really brilliant stones. Wish I could get pictures of them, but can''t right now.

Linda
