The ring looks very pretty, but I would be majorly put off by the really big window in the stone. That plus it being so close to flesh tone might make the whole thing much less impressive on the hand. Do you have any handshots?
I'm not liking the window either, but I think the color and setting are very pretty. Windows don't bother me much if they are symmetrical. Weird, I know.
It is a lovely design and I think the window might just be a tilt window. However, I agree that the color is too close to flesh to have a contrast. The metal color may overwhelm the center stoen as well.
Hi radiantquest! It's a pretty design - I like the delicate shank with diamonds and the rose gold. The morganite seems like a typical commercial quality stone however, and I don't think that's just a tilt window. Do you know the mm dimensions of the morganite? If the price is good enough, you could buy it for the setting and possibly have the stone replaced. Keep in mind however, that doing so will probably require having new seats cut in the prongs, and the old seats filled, at the very least.
$150. I don't mean to be insulting if it is more expensive. It looks like a fairly lightweight setting, and the morganite at even at retail cost should still be rather inexpensive. I suppose though that setting costs could change that number some depending on your area.
