Movado Bling

I've spent hours browsing through jewelry pics posted here, and I've loved every minute of coveting all the bling you guys rock! I finally registered, so here's a couple of mine. We got married last New Year's Eve on Maui (he proposed to me there after a luau the summer before that), so my rings are still relatively new. They're both by Movado. I was supposed to get another channel set band to stack on top for our first year anniversary, but sadly Movado boutiques have closed this summer. We've contacted the one in Rockefeller Center, and their first response was that all the jewelry items from the boutiques were sent back to Movado and were disassembled (WTH??) but the husband is pretty persistent, and he found someone who said they would try to track down a band. However, now I'm thinking I don't want matchy-matchy anymore and have my eye on a Tiffany swing band with pink sapphires. I'm just not sure how the swing band would look next to my more "modern-y" rings. Have to try it out soon!

Hello there. Is your engagement ring a half-bezel-set round? (I can't quite make it out from your pics.) If it is, I can see why you might hesitate with the Swing ring. How about the Jazz band? Here's a good example of what to expect here (left pic, second post). Anyway, hope that helps

Thank you! Yes, it's a semi-bezel 1.1 ct round. The channel set band is a .75 ct. half-eternity. Sorry for the fuzzy pics; I took them with an old iPhone. I know I have a clearer pic of the rings from our wedding here somewhere. I think I've pretty much decided I don't want a matching channel set band, unless my husband surprises me with one! I'd like something to add a little pop of color. I'm going to try to get over to Tiffany this weekend and check out their celebration rings and see how one would look with my rings.

I LOVE your ring!! The Movado semi-bezel was what made me LOVE semi-bezels. I hadn't seen it before I walked into their store and LOVED IT. I nearlly got one of my own...my fiance was thisclose to getting it before I suggested shopping a little. I ended up getting a Ritani semi-bezel.

Thank you! This was the first semi-bezel ring I had seen, and I love not catching anything on prongs as I am a clutz. The proposal was a surprise; he picked out the ring all by himself. He said that a long time ago, he had seen an ad for the Movado ring and loved it.
