Hi, I would just like to share with you a "badge" I found in some costume jewellery left to me by my mum.
Myself and then my children have played with this for over 40 years, and thanks to a gentle rub I was able to find the marks 950 MBo in a large C. Imagine my suprise at finding it to be a Murrle Bennett & Co Brooch, Art Nouveau period.
It weighs 4g and is approx 3.5cmW x 3cmL. It has a mother of pear center and a hammered effect silver.
Does anyone think it is rare and possibly its value.
I definately won't be calling it a badge anymore!
Kind regards
SJ
