Hello Everyone,

I received my 1.5ct I/SI1 “A Cut Above” diamond ring from Whiteflash! I couldn’t be happier with this diamond ring!!! Whiteflash was the BEST to work with!!! Thank You Whiteflash!!!

Now to a little background information. I’m 44 years old and I’ve been married for 24 years. My husband and I have two children ages 16 and 8 years old. When I became engaged many many years ago I had a .25ct mall diamond ring. I wore this ring for about 6 years. I then started wearing a 1ct cz ring and I wore this ring for about 15 years. For the past 3 years I’ve been wearing a super nice 2.75ct. cz ring from Michael E.. All of a sudden I started craving a real diamond. I discussed this with my husband and he said to go for it. Within a week of him saying “go for it” I had purchased this diamond and setting from Whiteflash. I guess you can say that it’s never too late to have a nice diamond engagement ring!!!

On a side note, my wedding band is 10 grams of Finnish Lapland gold in 18k yellow gold.

Here’s the stats on my diamond:

Those prongs are really amazing. I''ve never seen any prongs like that before. Congrats!

Oh, dang! I can''t see the ring picture, only the diamond ones. I''ll check back again later.

U2, I wore a CZ for years, too. No one knew the difference, but I did and I eventually ended up with a diamond, too. Nothing against CZs, they are beautiful and I love them for earrings, bracelets and pendants, but there''s just something special about having your bridal jewelry in diamonds or natural stones. I''m sure you are on cloud nine right now!

I am so happy for you. 1.5 carats in a RB is so perfect! To me it''s the perfect size for a RB because it''s definitely going to get noticed, but it isn''t gawdy. I can''t wait to see the ring when I return -- wish I could see it now!!!

It looks great--love those prongs! Very elegant and timeless. Congratulations!!

Oh I do love it! Are you wearing it now? When do we get hand shots!?!?!?!?! Yummy!

Very pretty!

That is a stunning diamond and a beautiful classy setting!!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RING AND YOUR FAMILY

Hi U2 - -

Your story is SO similar to mine ... and we have SO many things in common (age, kids (except I have 3), great husband, # of years without an AMAZING diamond, etc., etc.

Your new diamond looks stunning ... I hope you will post photos ... in the meantime, wear it in good health! I know my new e-ring gives me so much pleasure ... Soon, you''ll be looking at ring cleaners like the JewelJet or UltraSonic, and you''ll be giving your ring a bath every night!

As for me, we just purchased the Natalie K platinum band that matches my new ring ... I couldn''t be happier! The knowledge and information on this website is great ... I find that I check this forum nearly every day when I need a little "break" from everyday life ... and it''s fun to help other PS''ers (to the extent I can) with their purchases ...

Best of luck to you ... I''ll check back for photos!

The diamond is gorgeous and looks great on your hand ... I especially love the setting - it''s very graceful and elegant.

You can probably find the thread with my story if you search under my username ...

And you''re absolutely right ... it''s never too late to have a beautiful diamond! Enjoy!

Beautiful stone!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!

that stone is really on fire.
It looks great in the yellow gold setting.

Doh! Okay, now I see them, after reading other posts and finding them off to the right.

What a beauty! I love the yellow gold and love the way the wedding rings have gotten kind of a broken in finish from years of wear. It just looks so rich. I really love yellow gold, and your setting is so graceful. Love it.
