Hello!!
When my husband and I married in '98 we didn't have 2 pennies to rub together, so we exchanged very cheap bands. In 2007, I (and he!!) figured we could now afford a really ncie ring, so I went to Whiteflash and I found a beautiful 1.41 F VS1 EC. I had it set in a 3 stone with trillian sides (size 6), and was thrilled with the result. A year later, I somehow bent the heck out of the shank so I went to a jeweler to see if it could be fixed. Well, I ended up getting the whole ring re-made......had the EC set into a 18kt yg and 18kt wg solitaire setting, and the trillions made into charms for wee hoop earrings. I was even mroe happy because the solitaire setting really allowed the EC to 'shine'. All kinds of sparkles and flashes.
The jeweler is Broughton-Stuart in Dunkeld in Scotland - Dunkeld is a lovely small village just over an hour away from me but the drive is lovely so I don't mind it, and the jeweler does really amazing work.
Anyway!!! On to the pics! (taken when the sun was out for about 30 min yesterday so the shots are a bit hurried and maybe not so good) Really the diamond is more amazing than the pics show....I had to be quick!
