Hi Ladies and Gents,
I''ve been a lurker for the past 18 months and have gained so much knowledge fro PS. I finally figured "What the heck, post my 12 year anniversay rings". My original ER was .84 D VVS1 - such a pretty white stone - but the cut grade was only ''good'' and that took a lot of the sparkle away from the stone.
To celebrate the birth of our 4th (and last!) child and our 12 year anniversay, hubby agreed to let me trade up my original RB for a larger stone in a new setting. My original setting was a basic channel set of diamonds in yellow gold. Even though it was pretty, I am a big fan of white gold and wanted something in white gold.
The specs on my upgrade are RB Hearts and Arrows ISEE2 1.67 G VS2 -- GIA Ex Ex Ex. This girl scored a 9.8 on the ISEE2 machine and sparkles like mad. The bands are from C. Gonshor, the ER band has 6 shared prong diamonds with a Ct weight of 1.07 and the matching wedding band has 7 shared prong diamonds with a ct weight of 1.12. Total carat weight for er and wr= 3.86 - a lot of bling!! And I am happy such a wonderful and loving husband bought this set for me.
I took some pictures, of course my camera and my photography skills don''t do the ring justice.
