The good:
The clarity is amazing
GIA confirmed it's an original old cut and not a reproduction
The ugly:
The setting is the ugliest thing I've ever seen, but it's heavy and 14k solid gold, so can go to scrap for a decent amount and zero remorse.
The seller is a total nutter and included a long very religious passage that the GIA authentication service kept and forwarded to me. I'm a religious person, however I don't appreciate proselytization and doomsday literature with my purchases.
Back to the jewelry, I'm thinking of a moi et toi with a natural, wild pearl. The diamond is small, 6.1 mm by 4.5 mm but I knew that, based on the price. Any other ideas for something else?
