I just had a stone that's been in my family for generations set and I love it! I'm a new member to PS, but I've been lurking for months to get idea settings since I found out I'd be getting this stone. I ended up going with a custom made setting from my local jeweler. My biggest concern was that it was simple and set low. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I've enjoyed looking at all your lovely bling!

What a STUNNING diamond! It looks HUGE on your hand - and does it have some fluorescence?? that first picture seems to have a blue glow to it- that size rock, glowing blue under a black light??? TOOO COOL!!!

How special that you are now the lucky wearer of a family piece of history - enjoy and take good care of that precious diamond!

Thanks! I'm really not too well versed on all the diamond lingo outside of the basics. As far as the florescence--I guess so?! These pics really aren't too great as I took them with my phone and was all too eager to upload something! I will definitely try to get better pics with my good camera when I can!
