My parents gave me a budget to buy jewelry as wedding gift for me. After a long search, I managed to get a pendant + chain and a pair of earring studs within the budget.
Main diamond is from OWD. Adam is extremely patient and helpful and immediately understand what I was looking for. According to him, the center diamond is 0.45ct OEC G/H Color & VS Clarity.
I went to Geoffrey's Diamonds at San Carlos, CA (Bay Area) and initially wanted to set it in a standard Stuller setting. They ordered a few settings in for me but I wasn't wowed by it. I did more research and was inspired by one of the Beverly K Halo pendant. I contacted 3 vendors commonly found here on PS. One didn't respond with a quote after 3 weeks. The other two quotes were much higher than my budget. I went back to Geoffrey and this time, I got to talk to Geoffrey himself. Geoffrey is da BOMB! He offered to custom for me after the supplier of his pendant refuse to do the custom setting and quoted me an unbelievable price (1/3 of other vendors)!!! They just offer awesome customer service!! Everytime when I am there, they offered to clean my rings and check to ensure that my micropave and prongs are not loose. My friend went with me today to pick up the pendant and she got her ring rhodium plated for free!
I totally recommend both Adam (Old World Diamonds) and Geoffrey's Diamonds!!
Here is the OWD stone to start with (by the way, Geoffrey thinks that it's a transitional... what do you guys think??):
ETA: Sorry!! Didn't expect the picture to be so big!!
