#JOTW My 4.7ct Whiteflash ACA upgrade!

Hi everyone!

I'm pleased to share my latest upgrade with the Pricescope community! I recently had the opportunity to upgrade to a new 4.7ct I VS-1 Whiteflash ACA from WF!!!

Since diamond prices have been relatively low recently, I decided it was time to take the plunge once again. WF made it very simple and easy for me to trade up to this fabulous stone b/c of their great upgrade policies!

Although there is only a small difference in carat weight with this upgrade, it has a smaller depth which helps to make it appear bigger. This combination equates to a face up surface area of 6% larger than my last ACA.

I love the fact this stone is pretty darn close to 11mm in diameter. It is probably the next best thing to a 5ct rock w/out the 5ct price, especially given my budget!

My new ACA also happens to be a high "I" on the color scale according to Bob, the head gemologist @ WF. It appears to be more colorless than my last stone IRL and fits in seamlessly with my other higher colored pieces.

In terms of clarity, the this VS-1 is amazing! It is so clear and blingy from all angles! I think Diamondseeker has definitely rubbed off on me in terms of her love of VS-1 clarity!

I want to give special thanks again to all of the wonderful folks at Whiteflash, including Debi, Vera, Bob, Leon and Becca! They are truly incredible people who are some of the best in the diamond biz!
