Love sharing. So... here is my AIGS certified 2.10 ct Unheated Hot Pink Sapphire from Tan, that i bought from him in 2010. I don't have his vendor photos, but they were not any different than the stone in person or the photos I took. Here ya go...

Very nice!

Wow, that's gorgeous!

Beautiful ring and a lovely color!

Good for you! For an unheated sapphire, that is a knockout (and I understand much sought after) color! You did an excellent job setting it as well. Really, really pretty. I may be starting to like halos after all :praise:

Beautiful color and unheated to boot! A huge congratulations.

Wow....what a gorgeous shade of pink! I love the trillion setting you chose, too. Nicely done! :appl:

Thank you guys. Aside from my wedding set, it is my favorite ring. The color is amazing. I really wanted to a save the video Tan did of it, but could not figure out how. I do have his photo, but on my iPad. I guess I could email it to myself to get it on my pc, then I could post it. I'll try that.

Wow that's just beautiful! I'm starting to like these trillions...

Beautiful color! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful ring! Great setting, great stone shape, love the colour... a triple threat! It is just gorgeous! :appl:

Very pretty! Unbelievable color, especially for an unheated stone. (Great photos, too!)

Stunning. That's one of my favourite colours for sapphire.

I love the colour, and you don't see too many trillion haloes! Really pretty setting. I like the twist. Hand shots?

The dreaded hand shots. Why didn't I have this kind of jewelry when I was 20 years old instead of an old lady with short dry hands. Yes...my hand were little even when I was young, but they were alot thinner and softer. Please excuse the old lady dry hands. You asked for it:

LOL - from one "old lady hands to another", but truthfully, I don't think your hands look old, they look like baby hands next to mine.... but then all I see is that fantastic sapphire! BTW, we didn't have this kind of jewelry when we were young with pretty hands because we couldn't afford it then (or at least I couldnt'). I have a sapphire that is a very similar color (I need to post some photos) but mine is heated (AGL - heat only), so yours is a much bigger "find"!!!

I can't tell you how many pretty good photos I've gotten of rings on my hand, and my hands look soooo bad in some of them, I won't post the photos... sigh......

Thanks Colorlvr. Tell me about it. All of a sudden I hit menopause and I have all this thin loose skin on top of my hands. Yikes! They look like my mom's hands when I was little. And I went through a couple of photos before I picked these...not because of the quality of the stone or the photo, but because of the quality of my hands. LOL

I'm impressed that you would even provide hand shots if you think your hands are so old! But let me just say that I would love to have your "old lady" hands when I'm an old lady ;))

It is a knockout stone in a knockout ring and looks lovely on your hand.

I think it looks lovely on your hand, and I love the setting too!

I always wince when I see my old lady hands in a photo! It's horrible isn't it? Having said that, yours don't look like old lady hands and in all honesty when you're wearing that ring, nobody will be looking at your hands anyway - the focus will be on that absolutely gorgeous trillion! I really really really really really really love it!

Wow, HOT pink! Steaming, burning, scorching, searing PINK. It's gorgeous!!!

I totally agree with LD! I wore one of my nice rings to an Intergem a few weeks ago and I had a couple of vendors grab my hand and ask where I got it, etc. etc. This one vendor (sold nice settings and jewelry) even had me give her the name of the vendor of the stone - lol and SHE'S in the business! Made me feel good :appl: I don't think it was my old lady hands she was looking at.

Wow...that really IS a "screaming" hot pink :appl: beautifully set and looks lovely on your hand.

OT: Soooo Colorluvr...which ring was that? Inquiring minds want to know :naughty:

HI:

I love hot pink stones--yours is gorgeous!

cheers--Sharon

I had to come back and look again. I love saturated stones and that stone was just meant to live in that halo. Like little spotlights shining on the star

Blindingly beautiful! The color is so rich and intense, and the setting is beautiful.

So many nice comments from you all. Thanks so much. You should have seen me when it arrived and I opened it. I was truly speechless. The stone does not have a bad angle and it is beautiful indoors, outdoor, and in any light I've seen it in.

I will have a surprise to share soon. I just ordered another stone from Tan...not a sapphire :naughty:

I just love a good tease.... :naughty:

That hot pink is gorgeous! I am starting to understand the obsession with unique color and more surprisingly, trillions. I never thought I would ever REALLY like one, but this ring just dispels that theory.

I LOVE it!

Beautiful. I love the color.

Beautiful color and a ring! Tan rules.
